Launching skill development training centers in Mangalore

The future belongs to those who learn more skills and combine them in creative ways – Robert Greene

NIPUN is a premier program of Avashya Foundation for the skill development of the youth to make them confident, and employable. Under NIPUN, skill training is launched with two implementation partners in Udupi, Mangalore. The courses are selected on the demand-based sector in BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) and IT.

After the finalization of the list of 60 students, we have organized an Orientation Program on “World Skills Day” explaining the importance of Skill Training, Opportunities in the sector, and support extended by Allcargo’s CSR arm, Avashya Foundation in conducting the present Skill Training Program to create better employment opportunities.

The objective of the Mangalore CSR Skill Development Program in the BFSI Sector is to create a skilled workforce and professionals for the banking and financial sector. Since the candidates are from economically backward and rural areas it would create better employment opportunities for them and which in turn would support their respective families. It would also raise their income level, give them the confidence to excel in life, and contribute to the development of the economy of the country.
