With young, strong, and enthusiastic, 15 management trainees of our Allcargo Global Campus Program, taken on board, we have our Velocity batch take a visit for the project Save the Children India, Mumbaiat Dhvani Centre.
NGOs like Vipla Foundation have undertaken the project Save the Children, enabling the street children of Mumbai and also the orphans to have access to free education, essential services, and especially to love and hope. They are the special children of Mumbai and every possible preventive measure is taken to protect them from high rates of child abuse, neglect, and exploitation. Help is also extended to protect homeless children on the streets from cruelties and abuses.
To make a difference in their lives at least for a day, our group of 15 has dropped in to share the joy of togetherness. They had a great time briefing them on our project Dhvani and had activities and interactions with students and the management staff as well. During the debriefing sessions, presentations were made, and the session ended with a colourful, fun-filled activity of sketching and drawings.
