Avashya Foundation and Allcargo Logistics Park successfully completed eye check-up camps in Dadri, benefitting over 4700 people
Access to quality healthcare is not a privilege, but a necessity. Avashya Foundation supports both preventive and curative healthcare in the community to address affordability and accessibility in Public health. Through its project Drushti that conducts eye check-up camps and treatments across the country.
Avashya Foundation has organised various successful eye check-up camps in Dadri district with its NGO partner Foundation of His Sacred Majesty. This camp was supported by Allcargo Logistics Park Pvt Ltd. A total of over 4700 people were benefited from the eye camps. 4701 socially and economically deprived men and women got benefited from the project. Amongst, 216 patients have undergone surgical treatment for cataract; 2153 patients have been provided with free spectacles, 287 treated for spectacular malfunction and referred to higher institutions as referral; 307 patients were treated with medicines for minor eye defects; and 1738 people had utilized the basic eye testing services.
Majority of the people who attended the camp were suffering from unclear visual. People were diagnosed with various common but seriously neglected problems which were treated at the camp.
The objective of conducting this health camp was to create awareness of general health among the people, especially in eye care.
