Avashya Foundation students of Mumbai and Mangalore clear HSC examination with flying colours
Education is one of important focus areas under CSR and Avashya Foundation with the objectives of providing better educational opportunities to deserving students, mitigating hardships of the students and bringing the underprivileged into the educational mainstream, has provided scholarships to 450 students in Mumbai.
This clear objective of Avashya Foundation has collectively paved the way for a better future for the students and their parents. Recently, the HSC results were announced, and we are delighted to share that students supported by Avashya Foundation have done remarkably well in their examination. In the academic year 2019-20, Avashya Foundation had provided scholarships to 450 students in Mumbai and 1600 students in Mangalore. In Mumbai, out of the 450 students, 27 students appeared for HSC/Maharashtra Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination, and 26 students have passed the examination with flying colours.
In Mangalore, out of 212 students, 206 students have passed their 12th examination of Karnataka Pre-University Education Board Examination. 6 students who couldn’t clear the exams will be handheld and motivated to reappear for the examination.
We are happy to share that performance of the girl students in Mumbai was found to be relatively better. Two girls are toppers and have scored 84% and 80% respectively.
